Trump Says Border Wall Construction Begins Monday

President Donald Trump said Friday that his border wall would begin to be constructed as soon as Monday. On Friday, the president signed a spending bill which included $1.6 billion in border security funding. At the signing event, he said, “We’re going to be starting the work literally on Monday, on not only some new wall ... but also fixing existing walls and existing fences." However, fact checkers say the claim is false.
