Union Railways and Coal Minister, Piyush Goyal, expressed his happiness on Bharatiya Janata Party’s victory on nine out of the 10 Rajya Sabha seats in UP and thanked all the winning candidates and allies. He said that this win will strengthen the party in the Upper House. The Railways and Coal Minister also added that majority in Rajya Sabha will also help the Government to pass new laws. “The way election was contested in a disciplined manner, I thanked CM yogi and all the ministers. Majority in Rajya Sabha will help in passing new laws more efficiently,” Goyal said. He also slammed the Congress Party saying that it's existence has vanished in UP.
