Man wows fiancee with surprise proposal on Canadian mountain top

A man surprised his girlfriend against the backdrop of one of Canada's most beautiful settings, Mount Hope in British Columbia.
On March 17, Richard Boucher got down on one knee after presenting his bride to be with a golden rose on a snowy mountaintop.
In the video, the couple are in a helicopter en route to their romantic spot. They then get out, which is where Boucher makes his grand gesture.
Boucher said: "I always wanted to ask Danelle to marry me at the top of a mountain while snowboarding. It was our thing, our date nights and our passion. Unfortunately, I was injured in the Canadian Forces and can no longer snowboard so this was my way of making my vision happen.
"We are aiming to have a destination wedding in the next year or two so that we can have our friends and family from all around Canada and the world join us on our wedding day!"
