Woman Auctioned For Rs 22,000 in Uttar Pradesh's Baghpat. Few days ago, the woman Mukesh married had been purchased by him at an auction. Outbidding others, Mukesh ‘bought’ the woman for Rs 22,000. While he paid the agent Rs 15,500 in cash right away, he promised to pay the rest later. Agent u, turned up at Mukesh’s residence 4 days later when he failed to pay the balance, and took his wife away. Out of frustration, Mukesh committed suicide by hanging.
