Breezy, spring cold stays until Friday morning _ 032018

Good afternoon. Dress warmly on your way out, a spring chill is here in Seoul and for major cities on the map. But Beijing and Seoul will notice much warmer temperatures starting next week.

This week is a definite period of transition into spring. We'll see below-average temperatures before the spring warmth arrives Friday afternoon.

So it's going to be breezy today with Seoul getting up to 9 degrees while Daegu and Busan will reach 8 degrees. Busan and the southern coastal regions will be covered with lots of clouds while Jeju Island will see rain all day today.

In fact, rain and even snow are expected for the southern provinces starting tonight, with a possible heavy snow advisory for Daegu and parts of Gangwon-do and Gyeongsang-do provinces

With that, let's take a look at the international weather for viewers around the world.

A spring chill has arrived here in Seoul, it will feel cooler in southern regions along with less sunshine, while most parts of North Korea will have relatively mild temperatures under sunny skies.

Another scorching day in Delhi... but the capital is likely to get some relief from the high temperatures this week with light rain and thunderstorms forecast for Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the threat of Tropical Cyclone Marcus that had formed off northern Australia has now passed... but the weather bureau is carefully monitoring the area as another cyclone could develop before the weekend.

Heading to North America, spring starts Tuesday in Eastern Canada but there are chilly days ahead for most of the regions coupled with a higher-than-usual threat of winter storms.

As for South America, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro will have unstable weather conditions.

Taking you to Europe,... snow and below-average temperatures could return across the UK for the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

Lastly to Africa, Addis Ababa will have unstable weather conditions on Tuesday.
