The actor posted the image of the green-skinned one on Monday and wrote, "If you liked my last cartoon you may also enjoy...'THE WICKED WITCH OF THE WEST WING AND PUTIN'S FLYING MONKEYS.'" Much like his previously shared piece, presumably depicting White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, some Twitter users were amused while others were not.
In his Saturday posting of Sanders image, Carrey wrote, "This is the portrait of a so-called Christian whose only purpose in life is to lie for the wicked. Monstrous!" One person characterized the work as, "PRICELESS."
"I use to love your work, so gifted, but now I would rather not see or hear it," someone else tweeted.
"Really dude? You are just stirring up hate. Be a force for GOOD!" wrote another Twitter user.
