Protests in JNU over sexual assault allegations against Professor Atul Johri have escalated.

The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned for the day after ruckus inside and outside the parliament over the special category status for Andhra Pradesh. As planned, TDP's Chandra Babu Naidu and YSR Congress' Jagan Mohan Reddy moved the no confidence motions against Modi government in the Lok Sabha before the session had to be adjourned amid ruckus.
