Toys R Us says it couldn't compete with Amazon, Walmart, and Target over the holidays. Toys R Us relies "exclusively on toys for profit." Toys R Us blamed Amazon, Walmart, and Target for creating a "perfect storm." The toy chain filed for bankruptcy in September. After disappointing holiday sales, the company determined that it'd run out of cash in May 2018. The company is now looking to close or sell its remaining 735 stores in the US.
