The US is not the safest place in the world to live. In certain cities, the presence of violent street gangs and/or a bustling drug trade have caused the streets to become a dangerous place to be. \r
Minneapolis, Minnesota\r
Minneapolis is the biggest city in Minnesota. Once upon a time, it was the flour milling capital of the world, and its home to a rich artisitic culture. Prince was born in Minneapolis, and Bob Dylan got his start in the city as well.\r
Anchorage, Alaska\r
The Municipality of Anchorage is, in all rights, a peaceful city. Which is an accomplishment considering its the most populated city in Alaska. The city has been named an All-America City four times, one of eight cities in the US to be given the title that many times.\r
Springfield, Illinois\r
Springfield, Illinois is the capital of the state, and also not the only springfield to be on this list, . Lets get into some history, as Springfield is known for its rich civil war history. President Abraham Lincoln began his political career in the city, and when the civil war started, regiments of union troops were trained there.\r

This is the first Springfield in the US. There are many Springfields like it, but this one is the first. Its also the birthplace of basketball, and the home of the Smith & Wesson firearm manufuring company.\r

You might think Arkansas is a just a peaceful southern state where nothing ever really happens. and youd ually be right for the most part. Some of its more populated cities do have some issues with crime, like Forrest City or West Helena, but the majority of the state is just huge fields and friendly little towns.\r

The capital of Georgia was established in 1837, quickly building itself up after the civil war. The city became known for its realitvely progressive views concerning the black population following the Civil Rights Movement, being called a city too busy to hate, and busy it is, being the 36th most influencial city in the world.\r
