Toys R Us to close UK stores after failing to secure buyer

Toys R Us is to close all 100 of its UK stores after administrators failed to find a buyer for the retailer. Simon Thomas, joint administrator and partner at Moorfields said there was “no future” for staff, with 3,000 jobs being lost as a result of the collapse. Report by Swinnertonl.
