160 g room temperature butter\r
1 cup granulated sugar\r
1 tsp vanilla\r
2 eggs\r
1 1/2 cup plain flour\r
1 tsp baking soda\r
1/2 cup shredded coconut\r
1 cup milk \r
1 1/2 cup fruit cocktail in syrup drained\r

Thick custard\r
100 ml heavy cream or thickened cream or 35 % milk fat cream \r
260 ml full cream milk \r
3 egg yolks\r
75 g sugar\r
1 tsp vanilla\r
1 tbsp cornflour
