Learn to Draw the Female Body - Intermediate Level

Do you have trouble drawing the female body? Fear no more, my fellow cartoonists, manga artists and other assorted planetary inhabitants. I will break this down into easy steps so that youll be able to draw the body without struggling. \r

To design a cartoon charer, we often view the face as the defining element. However, the body is equally important, and it needs to match the head type so that the entire charer reads as a single concept.\r

In cartooning, we use exaggeration - not randomly, but a purpose. So the legs are lengthened, to heighten the appeal of the charer. the upper body is shortened, to add more punch to the curves.\r
