2002 Chrysler Town & Country Stabilizer Bar Bushing replace

The noises were worrying me making me hope it wasnt the strut, CV axle, wheel bearing, ball joint, steering rack, etc. The noise in the driving test sounds a bit like wind but listen close, its a rapid thud clunking noise, much louder in person. The noise sometimes was not present. I could move the stabilizer bar side to side by hand with the wheels turned max each direction. Dont feel any play in the bar links. Hope this helps someone DIY. Overall much easier that I was anticipating. I did not want to try and loosen the bar link nuts which usually are seized on with corrosion and you end up spinning the ball joint in the link. Good luck. Got the new bushings from Advance Auto for under $15. Never pay retail, Advance always has coupon codes online ( one source, Retailmenot.com).\r

UPDATE:\r
Replaced the front strut assemblies and no more noises. So while the stabilizer bar bushing were worn, the noises may have been mostly from the struts.
