- Tarte Foundation review: I used WAY too much product. I thought I would use this like my other stick foundations and that was a no no. I was greasy and a mess at the end of the day. If you use about half of what you saw me apply in the video the foundation is great. Medium/ sheer coverage with a lesser amount. The brush was fabulous with the foundation. Also be sure and set this foundation well of it will creep into the ever so wonderful smile lines. :)\r
