Russian President Vladimir Putin recently opened up about the time he lied to first lady Melania Trump, reports Sputnik News. It happened in July 2017 when the two of them were seated next to one another at the G-20 summit held in Hamburg, Germany.  Newsweek notes that in an interview for the World Order 2018 documentary, Putin recounted his conversation with Melania Trump and Emanuela Maurothe, wife of Italy's prime minister.  "I told them about Russia. About Siberia. About fishing. But, of course, as you do on such occasions, I fibbed a little. When you are talking about fishing, how do you not embellish?" Putin recalled. When asked if he attempted to recruit his dining companions, he said, "No, I have not been doing this for a very long time." "Although I used to love doing this. As is known, it was my job for many years," the Russian leader further noted. The documentary is scheduled to air in Russia this weekend.
