President Moon hails inter-Korean agreement, but says extra efforts still required
  • 6 years ago
President Moon Jae-in attended the Korea National Prayer Breakfast this morning, where he once again stressed the significance of the recent inter-Korean agreement.
Addressing church leaders, politicians, and government officials, he said the agreement is a big step toward the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, but noted that there are still many obstacles to overcome.
He asserted that Seoul must take control of its own fate, and will continue to work with the U.S. and the rest of the international community all the while continuing dialogue with Pyongyang to lay the foundation for peace and prosperity on the Peninsula one step at a time.
