Second nor’easter in a week brings heavy snow to U.S. Northeast
  • 6 years ago
For the second time in less than a week, another nor'easter winter storm is hammering the northeastern coast of the United States.
It is making its way along the mid-Atlantic and New England coasts, causing thousands of flights to be canceled, and threatening more power outages.
Nearly 40 million people from New Jersey to Maine were facing winter storm advisories on Wednesday.
Heavy snow has been falling on much of the New York City area and parts of southern New England, with other areas expected to get up to 60 centimeters of snow.
The storm follows a deadly 'bomb cyclone' that hit the same areas on Friday last week with powerful winds and heavy rain.
