Participants in a recent Quinnipiac poll declared President Trump as the nation’s worst leader in the years since World War II.
Participants in a recent Quinnipiac University National Poll declared President Trump as the nation's worst leader in the years since World War II. Trump got the most votes among the 13 presidents up for consideration, being chosen by 41% of those surveyed. Barack Obama came in second with 21% and was followed by Richard Nixon at 10%. Obama was able to redeem himself in the best category, coming in 2nd to Ronald Reagan. Trump did better than average as well, garnering 7% of the vote, which was enough to land him in 5th place. That said, his approval rating is still quite low, coming in at 38%. The poll was conducted from March 3 through 5 and involved 1,122 U.S. voters.
