Dwyane Wade made a surprise visit to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, on March 7 as students cheered and exchanged high-fives with the Miami Heat star.
“My friend Charles and I were sitting at lunch when our Assistant Principal Mr. Porter kept saying to clean up our trash and to get our phones ready,” the filmer said. “Then all of a sudden everyone starts screaming, and Mr. Porter says, ‘Dwyane Wade, everybody.’”
March 7 marked the first day of the return to a full-day class schedule since the shooting on February 14 that left 17 dead, the Sun Sentinel reported.
