South Korea's ex-defense chief summoned for questioning over alleged political meddling

Former Defense Minister Kim Kwan-jin is set to re-appear for questioning on Tuesday over allegations he abused his power in relation to the former government's illegal political cyber activities between 2013 and 2014.
Prosecutors believe they have secured new evidence that shows Kim issued direct orders regarding an internal probe into the military cyber command's suspected political meddling.
Kim was first summoned for questioning three months ago, but was later released after spending eleven days in detention.
He's also suspected of fabricating data related to the 2014 Sewol-ho ferry sinking... when he was serving as the head of the National Security Council.
