Before the test program on the JB-1 with the General Electric engines was completed, the program received direction to replace the turbojets with a copy of the German pulsejet engine, and was renamed the JB-10.
Ford Motor Company provided the engine, which was a copy of the V-1 design. Cruise speed of the design was about 425 mph. Only 11 JB-10s were constructed.
