President Donald Trump met with the National Rifle Association’s top lobbyist in the White House on Thursday night. The meeting came just a day after appearing to support a series of gun control measures. Chris Cox, executive director of the NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action confirmed the meeting in a tweet of his own. White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters Friday morning that Trump will continue to support Second Amendment rights.
