UK man attempts to reinvent south-west town as ski resort

This is the amusing moment a man attempts to reinvent a popular tourist destination in the south-west of England as a ski resort.

The footage, captured on February 28, shows James Heaven having fun skiing down a road in the popular resort town of Salcombe, recently transformed by heavy snow as a result of the Beast from the East storm.

Heaven writes: ‘’Salcombe has a reputation for being a 'posh' summer destination - certainly not a place that people ski, as it rarely snows.

‘’Skiing has a reputation for being a posh sport so it seemed amusing to do a tongue-in-cheek film dressed up in all the gear, skiing down a 'mountain' in Salcombe pretending it is a great ski resort.’’
