This is the terrifying moment a bus narrowly avoids crashing into an out-of-control on an icy road. Gareth Smith saw the bus come over a hill at Frogs ton Brae, Edinburgh and head straight towards the car that had veered over to the wrong side of the road. The crash seemed inevitable and Mr Smith can be heard shouting in shock and horror - only for the heroic bus driver to dramatically swerve around the car before also dodging Mr Smith's van.
