The Man Chosen To Lead New York Public Schools Just Backed Out

Albert M. Carvalho accepted the position of chancellor for the New York City public school less than 24 hours ago. And, the man chosen to lead the largest school system in the United States changed his mind and will not take the position offered to him by Mayor Bill de Blasio. The announcement came in the midst of a meeting with school board members in Miami, where Carvalho is superintendent.
