GOES-S weather satellite launch successful

The launch of the GOES-S weather satellite was a success. When it reached geostationary orbit over the East Pacific, it will be renamed GOES-17, or GOES-West. With the addition of the new satellite, weather forecasts in the U.S West Coast will become more precise.
