Guns N 'Roses is an American hard rock band formed in Hollywood (Los Angeles, California) in 1985. The group was founded by Axl Rose and rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin.
The current lineup features vocalist Axl Rose, rhythm guitarist Richard Fortus, keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Melissa Reese, drummer Frank Ferrer, bassist Duff McKagan and lead guitarist Slash, these last two, considered classic members of the group, they resumed their place in the band after 23 years.
The band has sold more than 150 million albums worldwide, including more than 58 million albums in the United States. The album Appetite for Destruction of 1987 has sold 30 million copies worldwide and reached number 1 on the Billboard 200 in the United States. In addition, four songs from the album entered the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, and "Sweet Child or 'Mine" was at number one.
