Rush-hour commuters in the heart of London were met by snow showers on Monday morning.
Video shows Londoners battling the elements as snow flurries descended around Oxford Circus, one the capital's busiest underground stations.
The snowy blast, nicknamed "the Beast from the East", has sent temperatures plunging across parts of the UK.
Forecasters warned it could be the UK's coldest spell for five years.
