Crowd Chants 'Lock Her Up' During Trump's CPAC Speech
  • 6 years ago
The crowd in attendance for President Trump's CPAC speech erupted in a "lock her up" chant on Friday.

While Donald Trump has been president for well over a year now, many of his events still seem like campaign rallies.
During his address at the Conservative Political Action Conference, Trump covered a wide range of issues, and not surprisingly, went after a number of individuals and groups.
Among his targets were the media outlets and Hillary Clinton.
At one point, Trump said, "We have a very crooked media. We had a crooked candidate, too, by the way."
And the crowd responded with Trump campaign's 2016 chant, "lock her up, lock her up!"
"Boy, have they committed a lot of atrocities when you look," Trump continued. "Have they done things that are wrong."
Since the 2016 election, Trump has continued to criticize Clinton on Twitter and in speeches.
"Now that Adam Schiff is starting to blame President Obama for Russian meddling in the election, he is probably doing so as yet another excuse that the Democrats, lead by their fearless leader, Crooked Hillary Clinton, lost the 2016 election. But wasn't I a great candidate?" Trump tweeted last week.
