Quincy Jones Apologizes for Controversial Interviews

Quincy Jones Apologizes for Controversial Interviews Jones, 84, made several explosive claims in an in-depth interview with GQ and Vulture earlier this year. They included that he knew who killed John F. Kennedy; that Michael Jackson stole many of his hit songs and that he dated Ivanka Trump. I have learned my lesson! Let me tell you, I am so grateful for my daughters because they are not afraid to stand up to their daddy. I am an imperfect human & I'm not afraid to say it. I'm sorry & I'm not afraid to say it. Jones partly blamed his comments on his age, giving up drinking three years ago and memory problems. One of the hardest things about this situation is that, this bad-mouthing had contradicted the very real messages I tried to relay about racism, inequality, homophobia, poverty… you name it.
