Donald Trump Jr., President Trump's son, recently said suggestions that the family business is profiting from his father's presidency are "nonsense." Trump Jr. made the comment while in India promoting a new development of Trump-branded homes. According to the Associated Press, he told India's CNBC-TV18 that those who focus on his family "profiteering from the presidency and all this nonsense" are ignoring "the opportunity cost of the deals that we were not able to do."  Trump Jr.'s arrival in India was preceded by a number of front-page newspaper ads promising buyers of units at the Trump-branded housing development "conversation and dinner" with the president's eldest son, notes the BBC. "The 47-storey towers in Gurgaon, close to the Indian capital, are being developed by the Trump Organization and local partners - with some apartments selling for more than $1m," the media outlet also said.
Trump Jr. and his brother Eric assumed management of the Trump Organization when their father took office.
