Students who survived a school shooting in Florida headed to their state's capital instead of attending class after President's Day weekend.
Three busses carrying 100 students took the 400-mile journey from Coral Springs to Tallahassee.
The students brought luggage, pillows, and sleeping bags for the trip.
With many of them clad in their school's colors, the young adults sought to change their lawmakers' minds about gun control.
Alfonso Calderon, a 16-year-old junior from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School looks forward to address Governor Rick Scott and the Florida's legislature during the trip.
