After years of being Teen Mom 2’s most controversial star, Jenelle Evans was in danger of getting fired from the show after multiple offensive incidents had her on the chopping block, RadarOnline.com exclusively learned.
Her husband, David Eason, went on a homophobic rant on Twitter and she was slammed for posting a picture holding a gun in the midst of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, and the network had enough.

The TM2 star released a tone-deaf statement in the wake of the scandal, saying: "David didn't understand how offensive people would get or how Twitter even works. Now that he realizes his voice is very strong within media/tabloids he has deactivated his account. He agrees he will keep his comments to himself from now on."
Evans tried to calm the storm by mentioning she has gay friends.
"David doesn't hate people from the LGBT community. My old manager was gay and used to be one of me and Davids close friends. We attended Farrah’s birthday in Miami with a lot of LGBT people there and he didn't act in any type of way. We went, had a good time and left."

She finally apologized, saying: "We are sorry for the comments that were made."
