Goodbye Android Pay, Hello Google Pay On Tuesday, Google released an update for its Android Pay app as part of new branding.
According to Techcrunch, the redesigned app allows users to see stores in their location that accept Google Pay. Users can also see a list of recent purchases and previously visited stores. The Google Wallet app is still separate for now, and it has been renamed Google Pay Send.
Users can use it to send requests and receive money, but that function will be combined with Google Pay later on, reports say.
The app is available for download and current Android users will be updated within the next few days.
