NRA Quiet on Social Media After Florida Shooting
  • 6 years ago

Despite usually posting multiple tweets a day to advance its agenda, the National Rifle Association hasn’t tweeted anything since February 14th, the day of the Parkland, Florida high school shooting which left 17 dead. The organization has used the downtime tactic beforehand during past mass shootings in the U.S. In June 2016, the NRA waited nearly 41 hours after the first reports about the mass shooting at Orlando's Pulse Nightclub.
