Dutch Decision To Recognize Armenian 'Genocide' Risks Relationship With Turkey

According to a report by Reuters, on Saturday, Turkey summoned the Dutch charge d'affaires to Ankara to express its unhappiness with a pair of proposed bills that would see the Netherlands recognize the 1915 killing of as many as 1.5 million Armenians. Four Dutch governing parties have offered their support for two proposals by the conservative Christian Union party set to be debated in the coming weeks.
