Copied from my Youtube channel due to Eagles' label blocking the video before.
This is a solo guitar tutorial on How to play Hotel California by the Eagles.
I am showing both parts of the solo: one played by Don Felder and the other played by Joe Walsh.
They harmonized their duo soloing parts very nicely.
Joe played the bottom voice while Don played the top voice a minor/major 3-rd higher.

I've split the solo into 12 phases for easier "digestion".

Here's a little summary of electric guitar solo techniques featured in this video:

Phrase 1: Hammer-on and 1,5 step bend
Phrase 2: Pedal steel type of bend explained
Phrase 3: Dead notes
Phrase 4: Unison bend and finger roll
Phrase 5: Joe Walsh's signature slides up and down the neck
Phrase 6: Joe Walsh's rake technique and chromatic passing notes
Phrase 7: Pedal steel and other sting bends
Phrase 8: Don Felder's interlinking phrase
Phrase 9: Joe Walsh's "Laughing bend"
Phrase 10a: Two part soloing: Joe Walsh's part (bottom)
Phrase 10b: Two part soloing: Don Felder's part (top)
Phrase 11: B Minor (Harmonic) lick
Phrase 12a: The epic outro arpeggios: part by Joe Walsh (bottom)
Phrase 12b: The epic outro arpeggios: Don Felder's part (top)
