Joe Scarborough slammed President Trump in the wake of the Florida school shooting.

Joe Scarborough, co-host of MSNBC's 'Morning Joe,' slammed President Trump and lawmakers on Friday over inaction relating to gun violence in the country.
Scarborough made his comments in the wake of the Parkland, Florida school shooting that left 17 people dead.
Despite the traumatizing effects of these shootings, Scarborough said, "Donald Trump does nothing, Paul Ryan does nothing, Mitch McConnell does nothing."
"They choose to be on the side of the 4% and on the wrong side of the 95%, who want common-sense gun safety laws enacted," he added.
When MSNBC contributor Donny Deutsch mentioned that currently, Trump has an opportunity to lead the effort on enacting gun control laws, Scarborough pushed back by saying, "Trump has proven to be a coward."
"He's proven to be a small man, he's proven to be scared. He is so scared of his most extreme base," Scarborough added. "Why would Donald Trump stop being a coward now?"
Following the Florida shooting, Trump brought up the mental health issue in his address to the nation on Thursday but made no mention of gun control laws.
And on Friday, Trump wrote in a tweet that he's "working with Congress on many fronts."
