Gordon Orr as chairman of Greater China at McKinsey and Co. has been on the firm’s global board of directors since 2003 overseeing Asia, governance and risk, and leads McKinsey’s strategy and technology practices in the region. In an interview on the sidelines of Mint’s Internet of Things (IoT) conference on 16 March, he pointed out that IoT is not a new concept, but has existed in factories for many years. ​
