Turning to the latest from the PyeongChang Winter Olympics on this Lunar New Year's Day.
South Korean speed skater Lee Seung-hoon has missed out on a medal in the ten-thousand meter men's event,... finishing fourth.
The 2010 Olympic champion posted a new national record of 12 minutes 55-point-five-four seconds on Thursday, beating his previous record by nearly two seconds,... but it wasn't enough to get on the podium.
Ted-Jan Bloemen of Canada won the gold with an Olympic record of 12 minutes 39-point-seven-seven seconds.
Meanwhile, in the men's Skeleton competition, South Korea is hoping Yun Sung-bin can win the country's second gold medal of these Winter Games.
Yun is in a commanding position as the competitors are currently on their fourth and final heat.
With that, let's take a look at the schedule for the rest of the day and the medal standings.
