Pence: U.S. willing to negotiate only if N. Korea gives up its nukes

Speaking with Axios,... an online news outlet,... he said the Trump administration is open to talks with North Korea,... but only if it gives up on its nuclear ambitions.
Pence said the U.S. will continue to intensify sanctions on the regime,... and that they will not be lifted unless the North abandons its weapons programs.
And, he said, the international community will consider a change in posture only once it's persuaded that the regime is on a path to getting rid of its nuclear weapons.
