Cyber Liberties Pioneer John Perry Barlow Has Died

John Perry Barlow, founder of the Electronic Frontier Foundation and a former lyricist for the Grateful Dead, has died.
The 70-year-old passed away in his sleep early on February 13th.
Earlier in his life, Barlow co-wrote dozens of Grateful Dead songs, including "Touch of Grey" and "Brown Eyed Woman."
But he branched out in 1990, founding the EFF to champion free expression and privacy online.
