LeBron James is Going to Produce a 'House Party' Remake According to The Hollywood Reporter, Atlanta writers Stephen Glover and Jamal Olori will write the screenplay. James and his business partner Maverick Carter are producing the film through their company, Springhill Entertainment. This is definitely not a reboot. It’s an entirely new look for a classic movie. Everyone I grew up with loved House Party. To partner with this creative team to bring a new House Party to a new generation is unbelievable. Despite having appeared in two or three movies, Carter says that are no plans yet for James to make a cameo in the film.
