South Korea reported that Vice President Mike Pence snubbed North Korea on purpose. But according to US officials Pence did not deliberately come late to a VIP gathering and then snub them. South Korea reported that Pence greeted everyone at the table except North korea’s nominal head of state. US officials said this was not on purpose but that he simply wasn’t seated with everyone else he was greeting.
