North Korea is willing to improve inter-Korean relations: Seoul's Unification Ministry
  • 6 years ago
The South Korean government says North Korea is increasingly committed to improving inter-Korean relations.
Seoul's Unification Ministry said Sunday that the government will make efforts to continue the momentum of inter-Korean dialogue sparked by the three-day visit made by North Korea's high-level delegation.
It said the basic foundation to discuss inter-Korean issues between the leaders of the two Koreas was created, with the understanding of pending issues on the Korean peninsula enhanced through their recent meetings.
However, while the foundation for a peaceful resolution was created, the ministry admitted there was no tangible progress towards the process of denuclearization.
