The BCCI has not just raked in the moolah ever since the advent of the Indian Premier League, but the world's richest cricket board has also paid a huge amount as a part of the tax. As per a report, BCCI has paid around Rs 3,500 crore as a tax since the financial year 2007-08. Since its inception in 2008, the income tax department has refused to grant an exemption to the board. At a rough estimate, BCCI has earned around Rs 12,000 crore from its popular league till date. Watch this video to know more.
