Good afternoon,... we can expect to have much more bearable temperatures with a high of 1 degree Celsius in Seoul, Daejeon will make it to 4 degrees under mostly sunny skies.

Even milder temperatures are on the cards for Friday but another brief cold snap is in store on Sunday and Monday.

As for the weather outlook in PyeongChang, the host city of the 2018 Winter Olympics, we will see the chill easing up this afternoon and readings will also be generous for the opening ceremony on Friday,... but you will still need to dress warmly if you have a ticket.

The nation is on high alert for Norovirus, a common and highly contagious winter food-borne illness. Apply soap to every nook and cranny of your hands and rinse them well, and keep your hands away from your face while keeping infected family members away from others.

With that, let's take a look at the international weather for viewers around the world.

While a milder weather pattern is on the way for much of the peninsula starting this afternoon, bitter cold continues to grip much of North Korea.
