Wall Street Slides Into Third Day of Loses
  • 6 years ago
The Dow Jones Industrial Average has suffered its third day straight of losses.
After a rough Friday and Monday of trading, the Dow lost over 1,700 between Feb. 2nd and Feb. 5th.
A day later, the Dow is still down, opening at 523 points lower than it closed.
But the blue chip index on Wall Street rebounded a bit, though it is still lingering in the low 24,000s.
The rapid decline in early February erased the year's earlier gains from January.
On Jan. 4th, the Dow broke 25,000 points for the first time, and crossed the 26,000 point marker only 12-calendar days later.
But a month later, that record-breaking two weeks of growth has been wiped out.
