1,200 Security Workers at 2018 Winter Olympics Being Tested For Norovirus According to Lee Hee-beom, chairman of the Pyenongchang Olympics organizing committee, all 1,200 workers are being sequestered until they are deemed healthy. Norovirus, more commonly referred to as the stomach flu, often involves vomiting, diarrhea and stomach pains. Officials first noticed the problem when 41 guards became sick on Monday. Tests are now being run on food and water sources around Pyeongchang to determine where the virus originated from.
