One of President Trump's nearly 20 accusers announced on Monday that she has entered the Ohio state legislature race, reports Cosmopolitan. The New York Times notes that just before the 2016 election, Rachel Crooks asserted that Trump kissed her against her will.  She said the incident occurred in 2005 and when she was working for a company located in Trump Tower. According to Crooks, she introduced herself to Trump, and he responded by kissing her on both cheeks and then on her mouth.  She spoke with Cosmopolitan magazine about her decision to run for office and noted, "I think my voice should have been heard then, and I'll still fight for it to be heard now." "Americans are really upset with politics as usual, and I want to be a voice for them," Crooks further commented. Crooks is running to represent Ohio's rural 88th district, which went to Trump in 2016 but was taken by former President Obama in 2008 and 2012.
"If she wins the Democratic primary in May, she will challenge incumbent state Rep. Bill Reineke (R) in the fall," according to the Huffington Post.
